We love God and we love kids.

We can’t wait to share our love of God with your children as we delve into some of our favorite Bible stories, make friends, play silly games, and explore out how we can best love our Portland neighbors.

Parents often ask, “Which room should my child be in?” We view the spiritual development of your child as an ongoing partnership between the church and parents. Children go through social, physical and spiritual development at very different rates and we want to work with you to find the best classroom for your child. The movement of children between classes is often fluid, based on an ongoing conversation with parents. We provide the following as a guideline and starting place for the initial placement:

You are in the same building as your child so you can quickly leave the Worship Service if your child needs you (we provide pagers or you can leave your cell phone number). Children are always welcome to stay with their families in the service if they are more comfortable.
